Education For All: Support Disaster-Resilient Schools Around the World with All Hands and Hearts

100% of all donations to our Education for All Fund will be used to directly support our school campus rebuild programs around the world.

Our goal is to provide communities, devastated by disaster, with disaster-resilient schools that are safe and comfortable place to learn. Our current school reconstruction programs include, but are not limited, to The Philippines, Nepal and Mexico.

How the Fund Works:
1. Our teams, working around the world, identify schools in need.
Projects are submitted outlining the need, community and volunteer engagement, impact, cost, and timeline.
2. Approval is given to leverage the Fund to cover all or part of the school campus.
3. Your impact will be amplified by helping many schools in the most vulnerable locations, ensuring every child has the chance to receive an education. The Fund will be leveraged to attract additional funds from other partners and donors.

The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. Through our unique model, we accelerate progress towards Goals 3, 4, 6 and 11. The Education for All Fund advances these goals, specifically:

Goal 4: Quality Education: Focused on improving access to quality education in a post-disaster context. We build educational facilities and minimize the disruption of disaster events on education within vulnerable communities.

Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation: 272 million school days are missed each year due to hygiene-related diseases. The lack of access to clean water and adequate sanitation and hygiene facilities is then compounded by disasters. The Education for All Fund will support Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WaSH) projects across all of our school campuses.

Goal 11: Our long-term commitment to disaster-affected areas enables us to work alongside communities to implement a more sustainable solution together. For example, in The Philippines our schools are designed using Cement Bamboo Framework Technology. This method of building has a carbon footprint that is 60% less than traditional building techniques. In Nepal, our school reconstruction programs include the use of Compressed Stablized Earth Bricks whereby locally sourced soil and sand are used to make the bricks on-site thus reducing transportation, energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
