Support 362 Children in returning to a disaster-resilient school in Puebla, Mexico

by All Hands and Hearts Smart Response

All Hands and Hearts (AHAH) has been rebuilding disaster-resilient schools in Mexico since 2009. In April 2025, we launched our tenth earthquake relief program in the country, restoring access to education in the Santa Ana Necoxtla community of Puebla.

Our team is actively working to create a safe and healthy environment for students in Santa Ana Necoxtla by improving both school facilities and community disaster resilience. We are rebuilding and repairing essential school infrastructure using sustainable techniques to provide a beautiful and functional learning space for students and staff. Additionally, we are installing Rainwater Harvesting Systems in three schools to address severe water shortages and providing 22 computers to primary and secondary schools, directly benefiting 362 students and 25 teachers.

To ensure long-term impact and sustainability, AHAH is partnering with local organizations to deliver training in bamboo construction, disaster risk reduction, and school maintenance—empowering the community to continue strengthening their resilience for years to come.
