A frantic search continues in Kerr County, Texas, after a sudden and violent rainstorm overwhelmed the Guadalupe River on Friday night, tragically claiming more than 70 lives. Among the missing are 11 girls from Camp Mystic, where floodwaters surged over 20 feet in just two hours. Texas Governor Greg Abbott has declared a state of emergency and confirmed that search and rescue operations will continue around the clock.
While rescue teams work tirelessly, more than 900 people have already been saved from the flooded areas.
