This Black History Month, let’s break barriers and build opportunities. At All Hands and Hearts, we believe disaster response should be powered by diverse voices—including Black volunteers who bring invaluable skills and lived experiences to communities in need.
Through our National Volunteer Sponsorship Fund, we’ve supported 212 volunteers in the past year, yet only 24 identified as Black/African American. Financial barriers continue to limit representation, but you can help change that.
With an average sponsorship cost of $550 per volunteer, your donation can empower Black volunteers to step into disaster relief roles, creating lasting impact for both the communities they serve and their own futures.
