Emergency Response is the SOS button that is pressed in times of need. We created this project to provide urgent help and support in face of an extreme and unforeseen situation in Ukraine. Today, the sovereign nation of Ukraine has to deal with the most horrendous and catastrophic emergency – a brutal invasion. Razom is responding to this by providing critical medical supplies and amplifying the voices of Ukrainians.
The current emergency response is focused on purchasing medical supplies for critical situations like blood loss and other tactical medicine items. We have a large procurement team of volunteers that tracks down and purchases supplies and a logistics team that then gets them to Ukraine. Through multiple meetings a day, we are coordinating with several partner organizations worldwide, including Nova Ukraine, United Help Ukraine, Revived Soldiers Ukraine, Sunflower for Peace, and Euromaidan-Warszava. We are also working with governments and embassies on humanitarian corridors.
The funds will be used to purchase the supplies such as tourniquets bandages, combat gauzes, sterile pads, and satellite phones. On the logistics side, we have arranged for warehouses and points of delivery in Poland and Ukraine. MEEST, a leading Ukrainian logistics company, has provided generous support by preparing airplanes to deliver supplies to Poland and then ship via trucks to distribution points in Ukraine
