Tongabezi Trust School was born from a desire to provide the underprivileged rural Zambian children living within walking distance of the school with a sound and well-rounded education in a bid to improve the quality of their lives. Our vision is that these children are helped to develop a greater knowledge and understanding of educational and social issues, so they may make informed choices and have the chance of bright, promising futures. We strive to ensure that every child at the school realizes their full potential and develops a desire for lifelong learning, whilst creating a learning atmosphere that fosters both support and independence.
The primary purposes and objectives of the Tongabezi Trust School is to educate the children from the local area who come from underprivileged backgrounds. The school educations children from Preschool through to Grade 9 and also supports students through Secondary School and at Tertiary level, we teach the Zambian national curriculum, as well as an array of extra curricular activities for the children to explore their talents. We provide a holistic and safe environment for the children to find their niche and develop their skills.
