Vision: An improved quality of life for those affected by illness in Ecuador who are in a situation of vulnerability or poverty, with an emphasis on HIV. Mission: Fundación Hogar de Esperanza seeks to empower those we serve by providing programs and services to clients and their families. We also coordinate education and awareness campaigns through community outreach. Objectives: - To provide all services and support free of charge. - To provide hope and comfort through emotional, spiritual, and community support. - To provide medical information and visitation support in cooperation with clients, hospitals, and the medical profession. - To provide accommodation, financial assistance, and other support services as needed. - To educate clients and their families to empower them to live with health and dignity. - To work with the community and various organizations, educational institutions, and the government to promote awareness and educate the public. - To strive to enable persons living with illness to access services, social and employment opportunities free from stigma and discrimination.
